A mood board is a visual plan for your space, created by a professional designer.
A mood board brings together colours, furniture, fabrics, finishes and decor so you can see how everything works together before you spend a dime.
It's not just a collection of pretty things. It's about choosing the right items for your home.
The goal? To take the guesswork out of decorating and give you the confidence to move forward with a plan.
How I choose your colors based on the information and photos you provide.
I look at your space as a whole. The undertones, the natural and artificial light, the finishes you're keeping and the look you're hoping to achieve.
Discovery
I examine your natural light. (You tell me the direction of your main window.)
Analysis
I look carefully at your lighting fixtures, the size, the amount of bulbs, the color that the bulb emits. ( I may make other lighting suggestions.)
What your mood board will include:
paint colors
lighting suggestions
rug suggestions
and any other items you request for your mood board.

Strategy Design
I take into consideration your fixtures that have to stay. Your floor, counter and or backsplash.
I choose colors based on your kitchen spectrum, colors that will blend and not fight your natural light, floor, counters etc…
Implementation
Then I bring the selections together on a mood board so you can actually see the direction your space is heading.
Less second-guessing. More confidence. And fewer expensive decorating mistakes.

Yes, I can recommend backsplashes, rugs, even accessories. You tell me how much assistance you need and what to put on your mood board.
What if I already have color and some items picked out?
Excellent! You already have direction. Perhaps I will just need to to complete the entire “look” for you.
Can you use my choice of paint companies?
Absolutely!
Can you also make style suggestions.
I will examine your space and yes, I will make suggestions that will give you a designer “WOW” factor!
How long does a mood board take to create?
This can vary but it usually takes 2-3 business days.
Is a mood board only for kitchens?
No, mood boards are great for bathrooms, bedroom, living rooms. Basically, any room in your house you may need help with.
What if I don’t like the suggestions you make.
I will make one round of revisions at not extra cost.
How many items can I request on one mood board.
I will fit as much on one mood board as possible without it looking junky or confusing.
