Window treatments are one of my biggest passions in design and decor. I’ve been treating windows for approximately 20 years, so yes… I’m a bit of a window treatment geek.
Because I know measuring is not always easy. Windows can be awkward. Rod placement can feel confusing. Lengths, widths, returns, stack-back, lining, header styles… it’s a lot when you’re trying to get it right.
And with all the information out there, people are still getting window treatments wrong.
Not because they don’t care.
Because they don’t know exactly what to measure.
So I created something simple to help.
I put together a Window Treatment Measurement Checklist so you can record the important details before you order.
It includes two printable sheets:
One for curtains/drapery
One for blinds
You can print one for each window and use it to record your measurements, fabrics, colours, blind details, drapery notes, and anything else you need to keep organized.
